Between Confluence and Ohiopyle lies The MiddleYough,a step milder than the Lower Yough and appropriate for children as young as 4. This trip is for those who want to concentrate on fun and leave details (like lunch) to us. Uncertain about taking the kids on the river? Do so under the watchful eye of our professional guides. All trips are equipped with emergency equipment and radio contact with our base.

Pedal & Paddle: Enjoy a leisurely ride up the Yough River Trail to the Middle Yough launch area & get to enjoy 2 of your favorite activities in a single day. We will meet you there and swap your bikes for boats. Hop in a paddle your way down the Youghiogheny and back to Ohiopyle. Stop, swim and eat lunch along the river banks and enjoy a great day with your family & friends.

-- HALF DAY TRIP --
This delightful four-mile stretch of gentle rapids and cool, refreshing water makes a perfect half-day excursion. Scenic and relaxing- a great escape from the summer heat. NOTE: You must reserve this trip in advance, there are no accommodations for "walk-ons" at the meeting area.

Trip Format: Guide-assisted. You should expect to paddle a ThrillKat ™ or duck though rafts may be used occasionally at high water.
