Summer Jobs in Ohiopyle State Park with Wilderness Voyageurs

Working in Ohiopyle State Park will be one of the most memorable jobs you'll ever have. You get to enjoy Pennsylvania's largest State Park paddling the river, hiking the trails, fishing and hanging out with a great group of folks. It's an excellent opportunity to share your love for the outdoors with others as a raft guide, outdoor shop employee, bike mechanic or through any of the other job openings. Working for Wilderness Voyageurs, you'll learn new skills and have an experience that will be with you for the rest of your life. Some of our staff have been working for us since 1977! There are many positions available. If you want to be a raft guide - this is the place to learn! No experience is necessary. We'll teach you all the skills you need to become an accomplished guide and be able to guide on a variety of rivers. If you want to be part of the team, but not a guide - there are positions in reservations, sales, the outfitter store or the restaurant. Year round, full time (get to live, work & play in Ohiopyle year round!): Download Application
> Reservations & Sales Director: Work closely with the marketing team in making sales. In charge of the reservation team, hiring & training. Trade shows and some travel time in required.
> Bike Tour Sales Manager & Operator
: This is a year round management position.

> River Guides: From family Class I-II river guides to Class V guides, but mostly good ol' fun Class III. If you are interested in becoming a raft guide, please download this guide candidate letter along with the application.

> Reservations & Guest Services: Sales & reservations, plus trip check in and fun guest interaction!
> Photographers: Spend your days along the river!
> Retail Sales in Wilderness Voyageurs Outfitter Store
> Lead Bike Mechanic: Run your own bike shop!
> General Bike Mechanics

> Restaurant Positions: Bartenders, Waitstaff & Cook Staff at Falls City Restaurant & Pub
> Barista at Rapid Java
> General Maintenance

If you are interested in being a River Guide or Instructor:
You must have outdoor skills, excellent communication skills, have up to date first aid and cpr cards. WFR or other EMT training is a plus. Training will be provided for River Guides. It is rigorous and physically demanding.

You must have proven skills and/or previous instruction experience for kayaking, mountain biking and climbing instructor positions. Please download a raft guide candidate letter for training information and details.
