What's hatchenin'?
July 29th, 2010
Water Conditions: The rivers and tributaries remain low and clear. The Yough in Pennsylvania, and The Sauge, North Branch Potomac and Upper Yough in Maryland are all at ideal wading levels. Only The Middle Yough is currently floatable.
Conditions on the Maryland rivers are good. Low and clear and easy to wade at these levels. Try the Upper Yough, North Branch of the Potomac and the Savage.
Dale's tip of the week:
Fishing for small mouth bass is outstanding as we move into August. Fly Rodders will need a 6-8 weight outfit for floating line. We are doing well with a variety of streamers 3-5 inches long in olive, brown & black as well as crayfish patterns in olive & brown Give these great gamefish a try!
